New York City From Space on September 11, 2001

This image is from NASA's Image of the Day website.  Here is part of the description:
Visible from space, a smoke plume rises from the Manhattan area after two planes crashed into the towers of the World Trade Center. This photo was taken of metropolitan New York City (and other parts of New York as well as New Jersey) the morning of September 11, 2001.

  1. Hey Matt - Thanks for posting this photo. It seems like not long ago, yet is has been 11 years. How are you? The wife? The kidoes? My wife, Julie, and I are expecting our first baby - a little girl - very soon - like - any day! :o) We are excited. What a change this is going to bring to life. Julie and I taught School in Iraq last year and are back now living in Franklin, TN. We moved into a house here and are doing well! It would be great to chat. Thanks for posting!

    1. I am seriously racking my brain trying to figure out who this is. Who has a wife named Julie? Who would be living in Franklin, TN?

      I'm stumped!
