Go to Church?

The Bible would never need a place to say... "Go to Church."  Even though there is a place that says as much, it is not a necessary statement once you begin to understand, not only what Church is about, but congregating together with other believers is a natural result for those who really see the works of God. Consider this Psalm:
"Praise the LORD!
I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart,
in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the works of the LORD,
studied by all who delight in them."
(Psalm 111:1-2 ESV)

Not to over simplify it... but it may be said that "Birds of a feather flock together."

According to this Psalm, when we see the works of God, a natural response is to congregate and praise HIM! This is precisely what we will be doing this coming Sunday at our little church on Poland Road. "... in the company of the upright..." the uprightness... the righteousness obtained by our Savior Jesus Christ, we will gather together and praise God for His wondrous works.

Because we delight in the works of our LORD, we will gather together and study. We will look to His word and pray that He gives wisdom to those who teach. We will learn more about Him because the works of His hands is our joy and our delight.

If you are a believer in the God of the Bible and live in the Danville area and don't have a church that you attend on a regular basis, stop denying your Spiritual nature and gather with the other dodos birds at Edgewood!
