My neighbor is an artist. A couple of days ago I saw some of her doodles, and it inspired me to try out a few new patterns.

Give me an "H"

Give me an "H"!

I was needing an "H" for a picture on the wall. My wife asked me to draw an "H" on a star, but I couldn't decide which one to do. So, here is a compilation of several different "H's" for her to choose from. The one I picked wasn't exactly like any of these... but was close to the one in the top right hand corner.

Here is my doodle while administering a test yesterday. I am calling it... Little Planet...

Forest, Mountain Range, Volcano, Greek Building, Rain Storm, Fruit Tree, Factory, Desert with Pyramids, Sea with Ship, and a City... In space there is a sun, moon, asteroid, and a satellite.

Bible study tonight!

The Tuesday Night Bible Study that I host at my parent's house is covering Psalm 119. We are using one of those Journible Books to journal our way through Psalm 119.  This Psalm has inspired me to decorate the front of my regular devotional journal.

Sermon Doodling

I often doodle in order to concentrate. Here is this morning's doodle.

Doodling

When I was young, I used to doodle. As I got older, my doodling dwindled. Sure, there was the occasional doodle, dangling near the end of a diagram... There was also the doodle for my darling... wife. This kept up my drawing abilities, as I would occasionally divulge in my dangling, dwindling doodling.

My youngest son also doodles. His divergent doodles have reminded me of my own desire to draw, so lately my doodling has returned. It is the dawn of a new day of doodling.
